The Pakistan Super League (PSL) is back with its 8th edition and the schedule has just been announced by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). The tournament will kick off on February 13th and the final match will take place on March 19th.
The opening match will feature the defending champions, Lahore Qalandars, going head-to-head with last year’s finalists, Multan Sultans, at the Multan Cricket Stadium. Not only will the match be held at the same venue, but so will the opening ceremony.

The second match of the tournament will take place the next day at National Bank Arena (formerly National Stadium Karachi). The tournament is set to heat up as Babar Azam faces his former team, Karachi Kings, in the Peshawar Zalmi vs. Karachi Kings match on February 14th.
According to the PSL 8 schedule, the 34-match tournament will be held at four venues including Multan, Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi. The tournament will start at Multan and Karachi and then move to Rawalpindi and Lahore for the latter stages.
The final match and playoffs will take place at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. Rawalpindi will host the most matches with 11, followed by Karachi and Lahore hosting 9 matches each, and Multan hosting 5 matches in the first 5 days of the tournament.
